Natural gold has a bright yellow colour, almost bordering on orange. However, when this is processed the colour changes, both after the various processes it goes through and especially when it is mixed with other alloys. For example, white gold is obtained by mixing gold with nickel and palladium, while the black one is the result of different types of fusions.
